DVDのリッピング、aviファイルへのエンコードの手順は以下のようになります。順を追って説明します。
- 1.使用するソフトのダウンロードセットアップ
- 2.DVDのリッピング
- 3.aviファイルへのエンコード
1.使用するソフトのダウンロードセットアップ
使用するソフトは、以下の二つのフリーソフトになります。
上記のソフトをダウンロードしセットアップしてください。
ちなみに、2005年1月20日時点でのバージョン、ダウンロードURLは以下になります。
2.DVDのリッピング
クリエで見たいDVDをDVDドライブに入れ、DVD Decrypterを起動してください。
ISOファイルで保存しますので、「Mode - ISO - Read」にチェックを入れます。
DVDが入ってるDVDドライブと、ISOファイルの保存先を指定します。
最後に左下のボタンを押し、リッピングを開始します。
DVDドライブの性能にもよりますが、しばらくするとリッピングが終了します。
3.aviファイルへのエンコード
リッピングしたisoファイルをFairUse Wizard LEを使いaviファイルに変換します。
まずはFairUse Wizard LEの日本語化を行いますので以下のファイルをダウンロードしてください。
- Japanese.lzh(barykさん作)
解凍されてできる『Japanese.ini』をFairUse Wizard LEのインストールされているディレクトリにある『Lang』ディレクトリにコピーしてください。なお、デフォルトのインストールディレクトリは『C:\Program Files\FairUse Wizard』になりますので、『C:\Program Files\FairUse Wizard\Lang』にコピーしてください。
FairUse Wizard LEを起動し、右にある言語を『Japanese』に、左にある音声を洋画の場合は『English』、邦画の場合は『Japanese』に、字幕は必要に応じて『Japanese』に変更してください。
左下に『全自動モード』とありますが、チェックを入れると全自動でaviファイルを作成してくれます。全自動で作成しても問題ないと思いますが、作成されたaviファイルに問題（音声がない、字幕がついていないなど）がありましたらチェックをはずしてください。なお、『処理完了時PCをシャットダウンする』にチェックを入れると、全自動モードでaviファイルへの変換が完了後、自動的にPCを電源を落としてくれます。
設定する箇所は以上になります。『次へ』をクリックしてください。
プロジェクト名、保存先を設定します。十分容量のあるHDDを選択してください。

『2.DVDのリッピング』でDVDからリッピングしたisoファイルを選択してください。
設定する箇所は以上になります。『選択』をクリックしてください。
『全自動モード』にチェックを入れている場合、後は全自動でaviファイルを作成してくれます。
エンコードには時間がかかります。寝る前などに実行しておくのがいいと思います。
これで、DVDのリッピング、aviファイルへのエンコードは終了です。
